How do I order a custom cake?

When should I place my order?

Typically, orders should be placed at least two weeks in advance. This ensures that we have space on our calendar for your special event. For weddings, we recommend 2-3 month notice.

What information do you need to create my cake?

Please send us any inspiration photos of designs you are interested in along with number of servings needed and date of your event. This information will help us to provide a thorough quote and ensure that we are available. After that, we can customize to suit your needs.

What size cake should I get?

Good question! Below is a general guideline of serving sizes. If your group loves seconds, feel free to size up!

Do you offer anything other than custom cakes?

Of course! At Bianca’s Custom Cakes, we want to make sure your dessert dreams are complete! We offer custom cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, chocolate dipped pretzels, chocolate dipped oreos, and rice krispies treats. Please note that treats are only available with a cake order, and there is a minimum of two dozen per type.

Do you offer tastings?

To-go tasting boxes are available for a nominal fee of $25. This pricing includes three cake flavors of your choice. Complimentary fillings and buttercreams will be included. Tastings must be ordered in advance. Please contact us to place an order.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes! Bianca’s Custom Cakes offers delivery to the Greater Houston area. Pricing is based on mileage. For pricing, please contact us to get a quote.

If I choose to pick-up my cake, how do I store it?

This is an important question! To transport your cake, you will want a nice flat surface such as the trunk of your car or the floor of your car. Drive carefully! Keep the car nice and cool and store the cake in the fridge straight away. The cake should remain refrigerated until 1-2 hours before serving. Then it can be taken out to room temperature in a cool room. Leaving a cake in a hot car or an outdoor event for an extended period of time should be avoided.

How much do your cakes cost?

Great question! Since we specialize in custom designed cakes, prices vary depending on design and number of servings. Generally, pricing starts at $175 for custom cakes. Shaped cakes start at $175 and depends on level of detail. Final pricing depends on the number of details and any hand sculpted figurines included in your design. Please note that the minimum pricing for custom cakes begins at $175.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Venmo, Zelle, Cashapp, and Credit Card. For events farther than 3 weeks out, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking. Events within 3 weeks require full payment.
