Ordering your cake

Bianca’s Custom Cakes accepts orders via our INQUIRY FORM page. Any cake ordered from a picture or photo of a cake produced by any other cake maker, can only be reproduced by Bianca’s Custom Cakes as our interpretation of that cake and will not be an exact reproduction of the cake in the picture or photo. Please be aware that from time to time the use of non-edible, food safe cake decor is used in your cake. This includes ribbons, gumpaste flowers, or support structures for strength in toppers. It is the responsibility of the customer to remove these items before serving. Once a quote is provided, they are valid for 14 days.

Cake Pickups

Pickups are scheduled by appointment only. This ensures that we are not away on a delivery when you need to pickup your cake. Please be sure to choose an appointment time that is most convenient to you when you are placing your order. >>>Appointment times are given in 30 minute slots, after that we cannot guarantee that we will be at the bakery. Pickup location is at 1916 Caplin St. Houston, TX 77026. All deliveries must be scheduled at time of booking. <<< Bianca’s Custom Cakes takes great pride in each and every cake and dessert made. That being said, if you are unhappy with your order, please bring the matter to our attention before you leave. Once you leave the bakery with your order, we cannot help you solve any issues – all sales are final.

Cake Deliveries

All deliveries must be scheduled at time of booking. Any additional requirements of the venue should be disclosed before booking. If there are any additional fees/costs (including but not limited to) required from the venue such as Event Day Insurance, it is the responsibility of the customer to reimburse Bianca’s Custom Cakes for this out-of-pocket expense.

Payment/refund policy

Bianca’s Custom Cakes requires full payment when placing an order within 2 weeks of your event. This ensures that your space on our calendar is reserved. After that, there are no refunds, cancellations, or changes to your order.

If ordering more than 2 weeks ahead of your event, a 50% Non-Refundable deposit is due at time of booking. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the original event date. After that, there are no refunds, cancellations, or changes to your order. Late payments are subject to cancellation without refund.

 

Please note: Because we want to ensure you receive the best cake possible, orders not secured with payment 10 days before the event date may not be accepted or may be subject to a rush order fee of $75. This ensures that we can allot enough time to dedicate to your order.

Disputes

Any refund given for disputes regarding a cake design or production of a design are completely at the discretion of Bianca’s Custom Cakes and are not automatic. Full refunds will never be given for any cake which has been consumed regardless of dispute, as consumption of the cake is viewed as your acceptance that the cake is adequate for the purpose for which it has been supplied. All cakes delivered to venues are photographed from different angles to show cake quality on delivery and we do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to the cake or items with the cake such as knives, decorations and stands, once the cake has been delivered to a venue or collected from our shop, or for loss, damage or non-delivery under unavoidable or exceptional circumstances.

Bianca’s Custom Cakes operates under the Texas Cottage Food Law. This food is made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department. All employees have successfully obtained a Food Handlers Permit accredited by the Department of State Health Services.
